Fresh colors, new energy – The Meranerhof shines for the season opening

Ah, winter! We had planned to take it easy, but our beautiful Classic Hotel Meranerhof had other plans. It all started with small spots on the walls, seemingly harmless shadows that turned out to be the first signs of a bigger issue. A burst pipe! And not just in one place – we had to replace pipes in several areas and take care of the traces the water had left behind.

Then came the renovation of Manzoni Street, right in front of the hotel. Suddenly, we were told: "Please tear up part of the parking lot, there's an old water pipe that needs to be replaced as soon as possible." And so, one thing led to another 😊.

For the Eisenkeil-Waldner family, this meant rolling up our sleeves, calling in the experts, and restoring the Meranerhof to its former glory. And while we were at it, why not make a few improvements? So, we didn’t just repair but also renovated small details—beautifying and modernizing the staircase from the lobby to the rooms, and in the pool area, adding floral ornaments to the glass front facing the garden for more privacy while swimming.

And then there’s the “passion project” of junior boss Beatrix: the small herb garden at the end of the hotel terrace is being expanded, making more room for “green energy” in the kitchen. Chef Arno and his team are already excited!

Now, the Classic Hotel Meranerhof is ready to shine once again—with its signature loving details and an extra touch of coziness. The lobby will welcome you with its familiar warmth, the rooms promise pure relaxation, and the lush garden invites you to unwind.

The season is about to begin—filled with joy, hospitality, and the certainty that our guests will feel even more at home than ever before. We look forward to welcoming you!
