Here are some summer insider tips for golf courses in South Tyrol (shared by a passionate golfer friend):

Brandis/Lana: 9-hole course (also playable twice) / very well-maintained surroundings / amidst apple trees / reachable in about 15 minutes from us.
Blue Monster/Eppan: 9-hole course (also playable twice) / flat but with unusually much water / designed by the famous golf architect Thomas C. Himmel.
Insider’s favorite tip: Golf Club Dolomiti/Sarnonico: initially 9 holes in the forest – the remaining 9 holes outdoors – slightly hilly but not too strenuous / scenically beautiful.
As an alternative, the 18-hole course at Petersberg Golf Club, the first golf club in South Tyrol, offers a varied game on very well-maintained greens.
For particularly sporty players, the 18-hole golf course St. Vigil/Seis is set in a unique backdrop under steep rock faces.
